The Corbett Studio, owned by WGUC-FM; is grateful to be the recipients of an exquisite Steinway & Sons 9' "D" Concert Grand Piano. The Steinway belonged to the late William D. Black, who served as chair of College-Conservatory of Music's piano department. This generous gift comes from Bill's widow, Anne Black.

This piano—the Bill Black Piano—has been called one of the finest pianos at any recording studio in the Midwest, and we are proud that it will continue to reach out to student, virtuoso, and listener alike, also for many years to come. It will serve as another reminder of his legacy, of his life and of his success.
