DAY 9 – SATURDAY, JUNE 21 – PARIS
Continue on the Paris extension.

Transfer by coach to Paris. After time for lunch on your own, enjoy a guided walking tour of sites in the vicinity of your hotel, which is near the banks of the Seine* and the Place de la Bastille, and not far from the charming historic area called the Marais.

Check into your hotel and have dinner in one of the area’s many restaurants and cafés. You may wish to attend a musical or dance performance tonight or tomorrow night.

DAY 10 – SUNDAY, JUNE 22 – PARIS
This morning take a guided walking tour in the historic heart of Paris, first visiting the great Cathedral of Notre Dame on the island where the city was founded over a thousand years ago.

Stroll along the banks of the Seine to the Louvre, to see highlights of its magnificent collection. Also on your route is the Champs-Élysées, leading to the Arc de Triomphe. You’ll have time in the afternoon for the great Impressionist paintings in the Musée de’Orsay, a boat ride on the Seine, or a long walk through the endlessly interesting boulevards and byways of Paris.

DAY 11 – MONDAY, JUNE 23 – RETURN HOME
After breakfast, transfer to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for your return flight to the U.S.
