How ‘Porgy and Bess’ Came to Be
Sunday, May 20, 9:00 PM: Go behind the scenes into the creative workshop of George Gershwin and his collaborators as Evans Mirageas explores 'How Porgy and Bess Came to Be.' Mirageas, The Harry T. Wilks Artistic Director of Cincinnati Opera, weaves a music-filled tale of the genesis of our greatest American opera, being presented this summer by Cincinnati Opera for the first time in its ninety-two year history.
