Our January edition of "Music Cincinnati" comes from the November 3, 2008 recording of The Linton Chamber Music Series.
Oboist Liang Wang, principal oboist of the New York Philharmonic and former principal oboe of the CSO returns to play Mozart, Vivaldi and Dvorak with CSO concertmaster Timothy Lees, Randy Bowman, flute, Richie Hawley, clarinet, William Winstead, bassoon, Elizabeth Freimuth, French horn, cellist Judith Serkin and Owen Lee, bass, Michael Chertock, harpsichord, Richard Johnson, oboe, Michael Strauss, viola, Jonathan Gunn, clarinet, Jennifer Monroe, bassoon, and horn players Lisa Conway and Duane Dugger.
On the program will be the Concerto in G minor, for flute, oboe, violin, bassoon and basso continuo by Vivaldi, the Mozart Quartet for Oboe and Strings, and the Dvorak Serenade for Winds. |
