Khachaturian: Violin Concerto
Stravinsky: Le sacre du printemps (‚The Rite of Spring?)
Kristjan Järvi returns to conduct the CSO and young violinist Mikhail Simonyan in Khachaturian’s flashy concerto, as well as Stravinsky’s primal Rite of Spring, made famous for provoking riots in Paris at its premiere.
