Join Women in Song and the trebles of St. Catherine in a concert of sacred music as a tribute to the patron of music and singers St. Cecilia. These concerts will feature American
hymn tunes, Palestrina, Mendelssohn, Rheinberger, and a rousing set of popular spirituals and Gospel music.
These concerts will also feature two beautiful concert spaces and very fine organs, especially the historic Hook and Hastings of St. John's.

Women in Song will present pieces from 5 different continents including the popular Mountain Songs of Asian Composer Chen Yi, African Spirituals arranged by Matt Phelps, Music of Latin America, English Madrigals, and the Six Songs for Treble voices by Sergei Rachmaninoff. The concert will mark the return of pianist Randall Wolfe as he negotiates these tricky piano accompaniments of Rachmaninoff and also treats us to selections of piano repertoire that are sure to delight all.
