Naomi Lewin writes, hosts, and produces WGUC's award-winning program Classics for Kids, which airs on radio stations across the country. She has served as midday announcer at WGUC, and afternoon announcer at WQXR in New York, where she also hosted the podcast Conducting Business. Naomi reports on the arts for NPR and other public radio outlets. She has produced intermission features for Metropolitan Opera broadcasts, as well as podcasts for the Tippet Rise Art Center, the Yale Glee Club, the Tourist Office of Saxony, and St. George's Choral Society; she also writes and hosts Arizona Opera broadcasts.
Given her previous lifetime as a singer and actress, Naomi continues to appear onstage narrating Peter and the Wolf, Carnival of the Animals, King David, Façade, A Visit from the White Rabbit, Darius Milhaud's Sacred Service, and Four Seasons of Italian Futurist Cuisine by Aaron Jay Kernis. She can be seen as J.S. Bach in the Sunday Baroque 30th Anniversary video, and as a spitball-shooting professor in La Folía from Filmelodic. Naomi has given talks on operas from Aida to Zauberflöte.
